Potter's Wheel History |
|
Potter's Wheel Church began in February of 2006 with a small handful of people meeting in a rented building. By the one year mark the church had grown to two hundred. The church was founded by Kevin and Helen Ward, with missionaries Tom and Twila Minter. Tom and Twila returned to the USA in 2007 on furlough to prepare to return to the misison field for another four years. The Potter's Wheel is now co-pastored by Wandy Shongwe. The church has been established in Mbabane central in order to reach out to the city and see lives transformed in the capital city. We believe changed lives, change lives. We are here to win people to Christ, to train them up in Christ and to send them out for Christ. Our hope is to raise up leaders who will go out and make a difference in our nation, starting with the capital city. To that end, we host four leadership conferences a year and are developing a leadership school. These conferences are to train up and inspire leaders to become more effective and to provide the leaders with tools for their ministry or work place. |
