Lankambule house opened in 2007 and is one of two homes which has both a mother and a father caring for the children. Phumzile and Solomon have 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls, whose names are Thandi, Andile, Nqobile, Meshack and Emanuel.

Solomon's home was paid for by Family Life Foundation of Northern Ireland, under Pastor Roy Kerr. It was actually the first home to be built on the property. We used Teen Challange students to build the home, hence its very rustic appearance.

Solomon works hard to care for the rabbits and to help in the vegetable garden. He is an avid soccer player. Phumzile, Solomon's wife, was a teacher in the Bulembu School, teaching the homeschool program that was used. They are a great couple and have put a lot of time into mentoring the children they parent.
